An update from the founder...
This is probably the hardest update I’ve had to write.
At the end of September, the CGC & WRECKED online store will be closing for an indefinite period. Our final trade stand of 2026 will be Performance Action Day at Castle Combe, afterwards the online store will close too. THE CLUB & COMMUNITY WILL NOT BE CLOSING!
We’ve recently received the devastating news that someone incredibly important in our family has only a few months left with us. For the foreseeable future, I want to step away and spend that time with my family. There are also some big changes happening in my own life over the coming months which mean I need some proper time away.
I don’t have an exact reopening date. At the moment, I’m deliberately not putting a deadline on it. We’ll come back when the time is right.
This doesn’t mean the CGC community is disappearing.
I’m currently making arrangements so that, while I’m away, we can continue with our club stands and the community side of CGC. Our Area Reps will form the admin team and keep things ticking over without everything needing to come through me.
I’m currently speaking with a trusted friend about the possibility of them supplying a small, selection of CGC & WRECKED merchandise through their own store while ours is closed. I’m waiting for confirmation that they have the capacity to take this on right now, so this isn’t guaranteed just yet. I’ll update everyone before we close if we can make it happen.
As for me personally, I will be stepping away completely.
Once we close, our business email inboxes will also be closed and will not be monitored. Please don’t contact me through my personal accounts, DMs or other methods for CGC/WRECKED enquiries during this time. The team will be there for community and club-related matters, and anything relating specifically to me or the business can wait until I return.
I really need this time to be exactly that... time away.
Until then, we’re going to give Performance Action Day one final proper send-off and make our last trade stand of the year a good one. 🖤

This isn’t goodbye, and CGC isn’t going anywhere.
I just need to put the business down for a while and be present for the people I love.
